Corsair Launches Vengeance RGB White DDR4 RAM Modules

Corsair has outfitted its Vengeance DDR4 RAM series with shiny white armor and lots of lights.

The new Vegeance RGB White DDR4 comes with a white heating shroud to better blend in with your case or offer higher contrast, which ever you prefer. The shroud is still decked with RGB lighting. Besides being able to be controlled via the Corsair LINK sofware,  it’s also compatible with Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, and Asus Aura Sync lighting control software.

The Corsair Vengeance White DDR4 comes in kits of 16GB, 32GB, and 128GB. Pricing starts at $189.99.

Last year I was fortunate enough to be among the first to review the Samsung T3 Portable SSD. The drive was small, durable, fast, available in capacities up to 2TB, and relatively good looking making it not only my favorite portable SSD, but also my most highly recommended as well.

Corsair Launches Neutron NX500 NVMe PCIe SSD

After the successful release of the Force MP500 PCIe SSD earlier this year, Corsair is adding another PCIe SSD to the mix with the new Corsair Neutron NX500.

The new SSD will be available in capacities of 400GB, 800GB, and 1600GB will come in an HHHL form factor and feature support for NVMe over a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface. Performance of the Neutron NX500 is rated at up to 3,000/2,400 MB/s sequential reads/writes and 300K/270K IOPS 4K random reads/writes. The NX500 will also feature MLC NAND for greater performance and reliability compared to TLC NAND.

EagleTree Capital Buys Majority Stake in CORSAIR for $525 Million

In a recent press release, CORSAIR announced that EagleTree Capital has reached an agreement to purchase a majority stake in the company for $525 Million.

EagleTree Capital will be purchasing the majority stake from CORSAIR shareholders Francisco Partners and several other minority shareholders. Current CORSAIR Founder and CEO Andy Paul will continue to hold a large equity stake in his company and continue his role as CEO.

Corsair Reveals T1 RACE Gaming Chair

Corsair is now trying its hands in the gaming furniture market with the debut of its T1 RACE Gaming Chair.

The T1 Race features PU covered Paddings and a durable steel frame. The armrest is adjustable in four directions: height, width, position, and angle. A class 4 gas lift handles the raising and lowering of seat height, and the back support can be tilted to anywhere between 90° and 180°. It also uses nylon caster wheels which provide a smoother, quieter rolling experience.

The chair is available for order at the Corsair Shop for $350. Accent colors include Yellow, White, Blue, Red, or Black.
