So you’ve got your RGB gaming mouse and you’ve got your RGB gaming keyboard. What’s left? An RGB gaming mousepad.
In its raving new campaign to light up your desk with skittle colors, SteelSeries has introduced its latest inception: the QcK Prism. We’ve seen the Prism moniker before in products such as the SteelSeries Siberia Prism, and we’re overjoyed that it’s finally made its way into mousepads.
The QcK Prism dons a beautiful LED halo around its border. Unlike the monotonous halos in religious texts, the one on the QcK Prism glows in 16.8 million colors and has 12 light zones. The colors can be set using the SteelSeries [...]
Bose wireless headphones are great for music, but are they also great for spying on you as well? Apparently so.
According to a class action lawsuit complaint filed by Kyle Zak, Bose has been “secretly collecting, transmitting, and disclosing its customers’ private music and audio selections to third parties, including a data mining company”.
The lawsuit claims that user data is being collected through the “Bose Connect” mobile app, an optional mobile app which provides users with access to some exclusive features for owners of Bose headphones. However, the download seems to unlock more than just features for the user as it also [...]

Along with Mad Catz CEO Karen McGinnis, all Mad Catz officers and directors resigned as of yesterday and the company has begun liquidating assets.
This follows a string of unfortunate events for the company. Last year the company laid off 37% of its employees and the chairman of [...]
Sometimes it’s better to think inside the box.
The new Kailh BOX switches have their stem sitting inside a protective box. This decreases the width of the gap between the stem and the switch housing when the key is depressed. The contact leaves also seem to be contained in their own compartments inside the switch, leaving no metal components exposed. As a result, the Kailh BOX switches are rated to be IP56 dust and water resistant and have a minimum lifespan of 80 million keystrokes.
The Kailh BOX switches will come in Red, Brown, White, and Black variants. Other than the new housing and a slightly shorter actuation distance, the BOX switches are [...]

With development of games, productivity, shopping, social media, and other applications for VR growing by the day, there is no doubt that VR is on track to becoming the next big thing in tech. However, the biggest barrier to the “real VR”, aka VR on PC, is the pricetag of entry. In addition to the hefty price of a brand new VR headset from Oculus or HTC, you also need a PC that can handle VR which unfortunately is a huge turn-off for many looking to get into VR for the first time.
However, in a new announcement at GDC, Oculus looks to change at least the price of entry for their lineup of VR headsets and accessories as they’ve recently announced that [...]
Razer recently sent out a warning to its users in regards to fake e-mails containing malware disguised as a fake sponsorship email from Razer.
The fake e-mail offers an invalid sponsorship from Razer. Upon clicking the link provided in the e-mail, the link will redirect its victim to a malware application.
One tell-tale sign of a fake e-mail is that it comes from a Gmail account instead of an official Razer e-mail account. The e-mail is also riddled with grammatical and spelling errors.
Razer stresses that it does not send out sponsorship deals via e-mail. Streamers who are interested in applying for Razer’s sponsorship program can sign up at [...]
