In a recent announcement at E3 2017, Logitech attempts to solve these issues with their new Logitech Litespeed and PowerPlay technologies. Review: AMD Ryzen 1700

Well, this is it ladies and gentlemen. We’ve been waiting anxiously for over a year now for AMD’s latest Processor, after the disappointment of Bulldozer the PC building scene became primarily an Intel favored one for most serious workloads. While AMD’s APUs have found a pleasant place in the budget market and the FX lineup became a decent option for gamers looking for good bang for the buck, AMD remained way behind Intel in technology for what seams like forever. That changes today. Today we will be looking at Ryzen, will it live up to the hype? Will it fall flat on it’s face?

Amazon Prime Now Offers Prime Reading at No Extra Charge

Over the years Amazon has made quite a bit of improvements to their Prime service. While originally just a free 2-day shipping deal, Amazon added a number of additional features including streaming video, streaming music, and recently even ad-free game streaming with their Twitch Prime service.

However, what’s disappointing is that Amazon doesn’t have any sort of books and magazine service with Amazon Prime, which is strange given that Amazon started their entire business off selling books, and offers the Kindle and Fire, some of the most popular eReaders and tablets on the market today. This however, is about to change.

According to a recent [...]

Review: SteelSeries Rival Gaming Mouse

All Barebone, No Frills

While the gaming peripherals market is saturated with all the mice one could possibly want , we always welcome a good blend of price and performance. Introducing the SteelSeries Rival, a basic, bare-bone mice from SteelSeries that has a few nifty surprises under its hood.

There’re several interesting specs worth mentioning. Instead of using AVAGO sensors like many of today’s gaming mice, the Rival touts the Pixart PWM 3310 Optical sensor with max DPI of 6400. Since it uses the tried and true optical technology, in theory, it should have very little to no acceleration. The sensor isn’t the Rival’s only highlight; It [...]
