As the end of the year approaches, AMD packed a special surprise for its graphics card users – the Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition (Yes, that’s Adrenaline without an “e”) which is now available for download at AMD’s website here. The new update brings a healthy boost to features as well as many refinements to existing features.
Performance has always been the paramount focus when it comes to any driver. According to AMD, the new Andrenalin driver ups the performance in some popular titles like Overwatch, Prey, and Project Cars 2. Input latency has been optimised slightly for DX11 titles. [...]
Year after year, wireless gaming peripherals companies launch new wireless gaming mice, and year after year, the mice always have the same problems: they always run out of juice at the worst possible time and there’s always a slight latency that’s simply too much to ignore for serious gamers.
In a recent announcement at E3 2017, Logitech attempts to solve these issues with their new Logitech Litespeed and PowerPlay technologies. Litespeed is Logitech’s proprietary wireless technology where Logitech claims their highly optimized 2.4GHz wireless connection combined with a 1ms report rate minimizes latency for “competition-level twitch [...]
Well, this is it ladies and gentlemen. We’ve been waiting anxiously for over a year now for AMD’s latest Processor, after the disappointment of Bulldozer the PC building scene became primarily an Intel favored one for most serious workloads. While AMD’s APUs have found a pleasant place in the budget market and the FX lineup became a decent option for gamers looking for good bang for the buck, AMD remained way behind Intel in technology for what seams like forever. That changes today. Today we will be looking at Ryzen, will it live up to the hype? Will it fall flat on it’s face?AMD Ryzen Specs CPU Ryzen 1700 Ryzen 1700X Ryzen [...]
If you updated Twitch’s communications app Curse recently, you may have noticed a popup the first time opening the application after the update.
Looking at the release notes, it appears that Curse has recently rolled out video calling which will allow you and up to 4 other friends simultaneously video call each other free of charge. Further, you can share your screen with them as well so they can see what’s happening on your screen or window. The new update should run automatically, [...]
Amazon has been quite busy over the past few weeks, launching several new services including Twitch Prime, Prime Reading, and now Amazon Music Unlimited.
While Amazon has been offering Prime Music, which offers Prime members streaming of up to 2 million songs at no additional charge, for quite some time, Music Unlimited will offer tens of millions of songs, thousands of hand-curated playlists, and personalized stations for just $7.99 per month or $79 per year ($6.58 per month). Considering Amazon’s biggest competitors Spotify and Google Play Music charge $9.99 per month, Amazon’s Music Unlimited will be $2 to $3.41 cheaper depending on the plan [...]
Over the years Amazon has made quite a bit of improvements to their Prime service. While originally just a free 2-day shipping deal, Amazon added a number of additional features including streaming video, streaming music, and recently even ad-free game streaming with their Twitch Prime service.
However, what’s disappointing is that Amazon doesn’t have any sort of books and magazine service with Amazon Prime, which is strange given that Amazon started their entire business off selling books, and offers the Kindle and Fire, some of the most popular eReaders and tablets on the market today. This however, is about to change.
According to a recent [...]

While the gaming peripherals market is saturated with all the mice one could possibly want , we always welcome a good blend of price and performance. Introducing the SteelSeries Rival, a basic, bare-bone mice from SteelSeries that has a few nifty surprises under its hood.
There’re several interesting specs worth mentioning. Instead of using AVAGO sensors like many of today’s gaming mice, the Rival touts the Pixart PWM 3310 Optical sensor with max DPI of 6400. Since it uses the tried and true optical technology, in theory, it should have very little to no acceleration. The sensor isn’t the Rival’s only highlight; It [...]
