Of course, with Samsung’s annual release cycles, Samsung recently launched the new Samsung T5 Portable SSD which we’ll be reviewing today.Samsung Portable SSD T5 SpecificationsManufacturer SamsungModel T5Capacity 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, 2TBInterface Type-C USB 3.1 (Gen 2), USB 3.0, USB 2.0Transfer Speed Up to [...]

Back in February when AMD launched their Ryzen 7 series CPUs, they were able to easily snag several of the top spots on the Amazon Best Sellers list for CPUs. Today, several of the Ryzen CPUs still maintain several top spots in Amazon’s rankings, although Intel has reclaimed the #1 spot with their Core i7-7700K.
However, what’s interesting about the best sellers list currently is that the 16-core/32-thread AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X was able to claim the #6 spot on the list, which isn’t something you see everyday. While it’s easy for a $200 mainstream CPU to break into the top, it’s not all that common to find a prosumer $1,000 CPU [...]
Here at Custom PC Review, we love building our own custom PCs and as long as you’re up for it, we’d 100% recommend you do the same, but sometimes it’s just better to leave the PC building to the pros. Whether it’s because you lack the time or your friend who can’t even put together a desk from Ikea asks if it’s a good idea to build a custom water cooled gaming system, there’s plenty of reasons to go with a custom PC builder.
Today we’ll be sharing a few of what we think are the best custom PC builders on the market today.

Details of Intel’s upcoming 8th Generation Core Processors, Coffee Lake, are pouring out as last month we first got a glimpse of some leaked Geekbench benchmark scores and now we have a possible full CPU-Z information page confirming clock speeds, cache sizes, socket, and TDP.
Looking at the information leaked in the CPU-Z screenshot, we can see that we’ve got an unnamed 14nm Intel Core Engineering Sample CPU featuring 6-cores/12-threads, a base clock of 3.5GHz and possibly a maximum turbo clock of 4.3GHz based on the 8-43 multiplier. It will also support the Intel Socket LGA 1151 socket, have a 12MB L3 cache, and feature a TDP of 80W.
Ahhh. Competition is such a sweet, sweet thing. As AMD has finally “Ryzen” from the ashes as a competent competitor in the CPU arena, Intel is now scrambling to find a way to answer back. Intel’s first offensive was the launch of the new Core i9 series and the revamp of the HEDT platform. According to a new article from French tech publication, CanardPC, it looks like the next offensive is rebooting the mainstream platform with several new 6-core/12-thread processors for the LGA 1151 socket as well as rebooting mobile CPUs with even more cores than ever before.
The upcoming processors will be based on Intel’s 8th Generation Coffee Lake [...]
AMD has always been aggressive in terms of pricing. AMD Ryzen chips already undercut their Intel Core i7 counterparts by hundreds of dollars and it looks like AMD’s upcoming Threadripper CPUs are about to do the exact same to Intel’s Core i9 chips as well.
Today, AMD revealed pricing for their upcoming Threadripper 1950X and Threadripper 1920X CPUs, which significantly undercuts Intel’s recently launched Core i9 series processors.
The pricing for AMD Ryzen Threadripper is as follows:AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X (16-Core/32-Thread, 3.4GHz/4.0GHz) – $999 AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X (12-Core/24-Thread, 3.5GHz/4.0GHz) – [...]

The newest 12″ 2-in-1 in the Latitude series is the Dell Latitude 7285. Internally, it can be configured with up to an Intel Core i7-7Y75 mobile CPU, 16GB of ram, and 256GB of SSD storage. It’s also a 2-in-1 which allows it to easily shift from tablet to laptop mode.
So far, it sounds pretty normal, but the most interesting part about the Latidude 7285 is that it’s also capable of [...]
