WiFi is one of the most important features in computers, but sometimes you may want to turn it off for some reason or you just can’t figure out how to turn it on. Today we’ll show several methods for turning on/off your computer’s WiFi.
Turn On/Off WiFi Hardware

If there isn’t a physical button/switch, the enable/disable WiFi switch may be a simple combination of the Fn key and a F-key combined. In the case of this MSI GS40 gaming laptop below, the key combination for [...]

Ask anyone who’s played a game in VR and they’ll immediately tell you that one of the biggest issues with VR today is that the headset needs to be wired in. Not only does this create a potential safety hazard, but it also significantly detracts from the experience, especially if you end up pulling your brand new $3,000 gaming laptop off the table in the heat of battle.
In order to solve this issue, DisplayLink recently demo’ed their DisplayLink XR wireless VR system which will allow gamers to use their existing HTC Vive headset, Oculus Rift and other VR headsets wirelessly.
DisplayLink’s XR system is based on Intel’s WiGig [...]

Mid-2017 Razer Blade Stealth
On their systems side, Razer’s big announcement is the new Razer Blade Stealth. The biggest change for the Razer Blade Stealth is its appearance. While the traditional Razer Blade Stealth is far from being the most “gamer” looking laptop out there, it still has a hard time blending into a meeting room with its black and green color scheme. As such, Razer introduced their new Gunmetal grey color that’s a lot more boardroom friendly with [...]

When most people are asked what the main problems of their laptops are, the ones with Ultrabooks and other ultraportable systems would probably say performance while the ones with enthusiast and gaming laptops would probably say battery life, heat and annoyingly loud fans. While this guide isn’t going to teach you how to improve the performance of your laptop, we will cover how to increase battery life, reduce heat, and reduce the amount of time the fans kick in by using a technique called CPU undervolting.
What is Undervolting and Why Undervolt Your Laptop
As PC enthusiasts, we’re quite familiar with the term overclocking, a technique [...]

During CES 2017, Razer reported that several of their precious Project Valerie triple-monitor gaming laptop prototypes were stolen from the show floor. Now we may have some clues as to where it went.
According to a recent screenshot, it appears that the laptop was up for sale at Taobao. According to the ad, the laptop is for sale at a price of CNY 150,000, which translates to around $21,739.76 USD.
No information on whether the seller actually has the laptop or if it’s a hoax, nor were we able to find the ad for ourselves as it’s been taken down at this time. Guess the crooks realized it was a stupid idea to list highly publicized stolen products [...]
At CES 2017, we got a chance to visit the Razer booth before all their stuff was stolen. Two products are under the spotlight at Razer’s CES booth included Project Ariana and Project Valerie. While both products are considered to be proof of concept, Razer did have the prototypes to show off.
At the very front of the booth is Razer’s biggest eye catcher: a gaming laptop featuring triple 4K displays dubbed project Valerie. This 12lb colossus is Razer’s solution of making a triple monitor setup as compact as possible. In the private press booth, Razer had a demo running Battlefield 1 at practically 12K.
