Linksys Announces WRT32X Gaming Router with Killer QoS

 

Coinciding with Gamescom 2017, Linksys recently launched a new flagship consumer gaming router, the Linksys WRT32X.

The Linksys WRT32X is a 802.11ac router based on the WRT3200 platform, but what’s special about it is that it utilizes the Killer Networking Prioritization Engine to ensure that gaming traffic get top priority and are transferred as quickly as possible. Xbox One X Scorpio Edition Pre-Orders Sold Out in Less Than a Day

If you were planning on scoring one of the special edition Xbox One X Scorpio Edition gaming consoles, you may be out of luck.

According to a recent Gamescom 2017 interview by the YouTube channel Rocket Beans, it appears that although the new console was expected to sell well, even Microsoft didn’t expect it to sell this well. During the interview, Microsoft Head of Xbox Marketing Aaron Greenberg revealed that despite the company preparing enough inventory to “last about a week”, the new special edition of the gaming console actually sold out in less than a day with Amazon’s inventory selling out in just twenty five minutes.

Cooler Master Releases MasterMouse MM530 and MasterMouse MM520 Gaming Mice

Cooler Master recently released two new gaming mice with updated features to give gamers a leg up in intensive gaming. The new gaming mice, the MasterMouse MM520 and MasterMouse MM530 will become the successors to the Cooler Master Alcor and Mizar.

HTC Vive Price Cut by $200, Now Priced at $599

VR is now a little bit more accessible as HTC recently cut the price of the HTC Vive by $200 following Oculus Rift’s price cut to $399 after testing the pricecut by running several promotions over the summer.

According to the press release, the HTC Vive will now be permanently priced at $599. With the exception of a PC, the $599 HTC Vive package will include everything you’ll need to get started including the HTC Vive headset, two wireless controllers, two base stations and other accessories.
