As most of us know by now, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 smartphone has been nothing short of a total failure with Samsung permanently pulling the device off shelves within 2 months after launch. Although Samsung’s brand is on the device, the Note 7 itself isn’t completely produced in house with many of the components coming from outside suppliers. As these suppliers expected the Note 7 to do as much as $17 Billion in sales through its lifecycle, many suppliers have invested heavily into development and production of components designed to be used in the Note 7, which is a problem now as the product has been discontinued.
However according to a new report [...]

Last month, we reported that a number of companies including Google, Verizon and Salesforce may be among the list of suitors to acquire social media company Twitter, but according to a recent report from the Financial Times, it looks like nobody will be buying Twitter after all.
Last week, Salesforce had become the last remaining suitor for Twitter as other companies dropped out however, according to a recent interview, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff told the Financial Times that “In this case we’ve walked away. Whereas practically all the other US wireless carriers are offering some sort of “unlimited” data plan these days, Verizon still seems to be the last stand against unlimited. In an attempt to offer some sort of middle ground, Verizon recently introduced PopData which allows customers to purchase unlimited data in time slots of either 30 minutes for $2 or 60 minutes for $3.
While this may seem quite perplexing for those of us happily using our T-Mobile One Unlimited, Sprint Unlimited Freedom or AT&T Unlimited plans, PopData could be especially useful for Verizon customers on lower tier 2GB or 4GB plans. Say for example you needed to stream a movie, watch [...]
