Thermaltake Releases Toughpower SFX Power Supplies with Universal Compact Design

If it doesn’t fit, it doesn’t sit. Form-factor is the foremost factor in purchasing a power supply. But with the Thermaltake Toughpower SFX series 80+ Gold power supplies, maybe the decision becomes a little bit easier.

As its name suggests, the Toughpower SFX series power supply is built around the SFX form-factor. The SFX form-factor is more compact than the standard ATX form-factor, allowing them to be squeezed into tight builds like mATX or uATX. With that said, Thermaltake also includes a SFX to ATX adapter bracket so it can be used for ATX cases as well.

The 80+ Gold rated Toughpower SFX power supplies are guaranteed to [...]

Review: Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS Poseidon Z RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Thermaltake’s Legendary Keyboard Gets an Upgrade

One of the most cost-efficient ways to improve the looks of a keyboard is to slap on some pretty lights. This is an easy way to boost the “wow” factor without complicated modifications and additional investment from the manufacturer.

That’s exactly what Thermaltake did with its hugely popular Poseidon Z keyboard. The Poseidon Z is well-known around the web for being one the most affordable and value-oriented keyboards on the market. Not only does its price give gamers an incentive to upgrade from membrane, it does so without compromising on build quality.

Today we’ll be taking a look at [...]

Computex 2016: Thermaltake CaseMOD Being Mass Produced, RGB Power Supply and more

As some of you may already know Thermaltake has been running the Thermaltake CaseMOD invitational, with a total prize pool of 15k, at their computex booth, they’ve displayed the finalists builds! One of the most interesting builds from last year is “TheTower” by the owner of WaterMod, Mathieu Heredia who gave a speech on his experience there.

“Every time I mod, I try to do something different from my other friends and modders. When I was invited to the Thermaltake CaseMOD competition, I completely rethought the Core X9. I wanted to build fully functional case with a unique design, and in the end I created Project The Tower. I was surprised when [...]

CaseLabs Issues Apology to ThermalTake for Accusations of Stealing Intellectual Property

When it comes to fun trade shows, Computex Taipei has always topped the list. There, hundreds of technology vendors show off their latest products, and for someone who loves computer hardware, it’s like being a kid in a candy store. Computex this year however, has been a little different.

As soon as case maker ThermalTake revealed their new W100 and W200 product line, CaseLabs VP Kevin Keating, went on Facebook to post an angry letter accusing ThermalTake of “stealing” CaseLabs’ product designs.

While it has been pulled, he made a pretty convincing argument as well. For example, the ThermalTake W100 compared to CaseLabs Merlin [...]

Computex 2015: ThermalTake’s New W200 Case Wants You to Go Big or Go Home

In a world where everyone seems to be trying to build smaller and smaller cases, ThermalTake decided to go the complete opposite direction this Computex to build some of the largest cases we’ve ever seen.

Above we have the ThermalTake W200, which is the new flagship case in ThermalTake’s premium lineup. The case literally has enough room for two complete systems (or one system with an insane watercooling setup) and can run pretty much anything you want period.

If that’s not enough space for you or you just want your W200 to sit relatively empty, that’s OK because ThermalTake is also offering a (not so little) [...]

Review: LUXA2 Groovy Duo Live Wireless Speakers

LUXA2’s Dual Wireless Bluetooth Speakers

Rarely do I think to myself, “I really wish I had a pair of wireless, portable speakers that I could take with me places.” As you might imagine, I’m not one of those people you sometimes encounter in public, blasting whatever noise they consider to be music from their phones, perfectly clashing with the music playing over the supermarket’s PA system (if I were one of those people, I’d probably go all out and hold my cell phone and two speakers in my hands while simultaneously shopping and annoying everyone within a 20 foot radius of me, but that’s just me…)

As such, I’ve never really thought I’d [...]
