T-Mobile OnePlus 6T Receives New Software Update (Build: A6013_34_181228)

If you’re a T-Mobile OnePlus 6T owner, good news! T-Mobile has recently released a new software update, Android 9.0 Build Number: A6013_34_181228. According to the software version details, the new update “Enables support for additional domestic roaming partners”.

In order to update, simply swipe up from the Home screen and tap Settings. From there, scroll down and select System > System Update > Check for Update. Then simply follow the onscreen directions to update to the latest software.

T-Mobile Takes All Awards in Latest OpenSignal Network Report

OpenSignal recently released their August 2017 State of Mobile Networks: USA report and for the first time ever, T-Mobile swept every single category which includes 4G Download Speed, 3G Download Speed, Overall Download Speed, 4G Latency, 3G Latency, and 4G Availability.

According to the report, T-Mobile testers were able to utilize a 4G LTE signal about 90.9% of the time and were able to achieve average LTE speeds of 17.5 Mbps. T-Mobile Launching DIGITS Service on May 31

Last year, T-Mobile announced DIGITS, a next generation service which will allow customers to utilize their phone number on multiple devices and utilize multiple phone numbers on a single device. At the time it was announced, T-Mobile launched a beta for customers who wanted to try the new service and promised that it would launch sometime next year. That day has come.

Verizon Explains Decision Not to Bid in 600MHz Spectrum Auction

Earlier this month, the FCC concluded their 600MHz spectrum auction and T-Mobile walked away with 45% of the spectrum, spending nearly $8 billion. While this was no surprise, it was a surprise to see that both Sprint and Verizon didn’t even bother to bid. T-Mobile Wins Big at 600MHz Auction – Wins 45% of Spectrum Covering 100% of the US

In one of its most high profile moves this year, T-Mobile recently announced that they’ve won big at the 600MHz low band wireless spectrum auction, winning 1,525 licenses, or 45% of all 600MHz spectrum. The newly acquired spectrum covers every inch of the US including US territories such as Puerto Rico and quadruples T-Mobile’s low band spectrum holdings. According to documents from the FCC, T-Mobile was the biggest purchaser of spectrum in this auction, spending nearly $8 billion.

Hate picking up the phone from a random unknown caller telling you to wire $20,000 to Nigeria to release a $1,000,000,000,000,000,000 inheritance from your long lost Nigerian uncle? Yeah, me too.

To prevent this, T-Mobile is launching Scam ID and Scam Block, which will ID and block known scammer calls before they even reach your phone.
