Today, NZXT has launched a new version of their Kraken liquid-cooling GPU bracket. The Kraken G12 follows the footsteps of the Kraken G10 in offering a universal mounting solution for cooling graphics cards with standard all-in-one liquid coolers.
“Being able to play the latest games at the highest settings, without sacrificing performance is something all gamers want. While aftermarket graphic cards have improved lately, most stock cooling systems still can’t reach the performance level of liquid cooling. That’s why we decided to design the updated Kraken G12 to be easier to install and support the latest liquid AIOs” says Johnny [...]
Tired of kicking your cables every time you take a step? Looking for a way to hang your headphones without permanently drilling holes into your house? Maybe you need a NZXT Puck in your life.
The magnetically-attaching Puck is a cable and device organizer that can be magnetically stuck on any metal surface. It can also be split apart for extended cable coverage or mounted on narrower surfaces. According to its promo video, half a Puck was shown to hold up an entire headset all on its own which is pretty impressive. Its specs sheet indicates that it can support up to 2kg of weight, which is more than enough for most everyday accessory cables.

NZXT has announced a new version of their previously available Noctis 450 mid-tower chassis. The new Noctis 450 ROG, is a special edition case which is nearly identical to the standard version with a few new added features.NZXT Noctis 450 ROG – Republic of Gamers Certified Chassis
The new chassis, which was developed in conjunction with ASUS’ Republic of Gamers division, is designed with high-end gaming systems in mind. What separates it from the standard Noctis 450 are two key design elements: Firstly, the Noctis 450 ROG comes to an exclusive, “Gun Grey” finish, which is more than just a different color; it also includes a unique, [...]
When Intel launched the Broadwell-E platform earlier this year, Intel’s X99 chipset saw a surge in interest as many users became interested in upgrading their systems which required a suitable motherboard to match. Today we have an X99 platform motherboard that sits at below the $250 pricepoint and has the features to keep up with most users needs.
Today we’ll be reviewing the Gigabyte X99P SLI which is a motherboard that falls into the $200 range with a fairly extensive list of features making it quite competitive on paper.
The original X99 SLI motherboard from Gigabyte was priced at the $200 price point [...]
One of the most popular builds on our site is the gaming workstation, a hybrid build that’s both great at games yet also is able to pull double duty for workstation activities such as video editing, photoshopping, and even 3D modeling. This makes sense as computers are so versatile that it only makes sense to have a single PC that’s capable of not only playing games, but for doing work as well.
Our budget this month is $1,500 which means we’ll have a relatively high end build although it’s not quite as high end as your maxed out $2,500 build. That said, this build should easily play all your games at the [...]
Ever since Phanteks first appeared on the market with their massive PH-TC14PE CPU cooler, Phanteks has always been a company known for making some of the most innovative products in both the PC case and cooling markets. Constantly pushing the envelope in terms of features, build quality and value, Phanteks has achieved great success in the chassis market following their debut of the Enthoo Primo back in 2013. This then led to Phanteks’ introducing several more models in the Enthoo lineup such as the more budget focused cases like the Enthoo Pro and Luxe, and the stylish Enthoo EVOLV line.
Today, we’re taking a look at the latest of the Enthoo [...]
With a number of AAA games being released for the holiday season as well as a number of new hardware announcements for the holiday season, we thought we’d do a new gaming PC build article, this time designed for the mid-range crowd.
With a budget of $1,500, our goal this time was to create a gaming build which would allow gamers to play the latest games at 1080p, 1440p or 1600p at the highest possible settings (or pretty close to it). Additionally, we also designed this system to be as “futureproof” as possible, utilizing all the latest technologies including Intel’s latest Skylake architecture, DDR4 memory, USB 3.1 [...]

All-in-one CPU cooling has become huge over the past few years and naturally a number of vendors have begun offering all-in-one liquid coolers for GPUs as well. These all-in-one GPU liquid coolers combine an all-in-one liquid cooling unit for the GPU die along with with traditional air based coolers for the VRAM, PWMs, and other components. While it’s still a relatively niche market, big name vendors such as NZXT’s Kraken G10 and Corsair’s HG10 have been on the market for quite some time, and even AMD jumped into the mix using a similar solution for their flagship Radeon R9 295×2.
Not to be outdone, EVGA is now jumping into the bandwagon [...]
