A new report from Dutch technology site PCM recently reported that HP is now blocking non-HP branded ink cartridges though the printer firmware.
Last week it was discovered that a number of HP printers began blocking non-HP branded ink cartridges. After further investigation, it was discovered by online ink retailer 123inkt.nl that HP programmed a date in the printer’s firmware that would cause 3rd party ink cartridges to stop working. HP had apparently began implementing processes to block non-HP branded ink cartridges last year by utilizing security chips in the cartridges of HP OfficeJet, OfficeJet Pro and OfficeJet Pro X printers.

EA recently released a trailer for Battefield 1’s single player campaign mode which is something many fans of the game has been looking forward to.
According to EA, Battlefield 1’s single player campaign will focus on what they call War Stories, or personal stories of different characters with certain skillsets. Some of these characters include a tank crew member, rebel fighter, runner, and fighter pilot. As we can see from even just the short trailer itself, EA’s focus for the single player campaign was to create a cinematic style campaign that allows players to truly experience what the characters are going through in the game.

The keen eyes over at Bloomberg recently spotted several job posting from Nvidia which may suggest a return of Nvidia GPUs to Apple computers.
Some of the jobs that were recently posted include “METAL COMPUTER AND OPENCL SOFTWARE ENGINEER – MAC“, “METAL AND OPENGL SOFTWARE ENGINEER – MAC“, and “SENIOR SYSTEM SOFTWARE ENGINEER“. According to a recent announcement, Razer is adding a new DeathAdder to the family and it’s shaping up to be the best DeathAdder we’ve seen to date.
Called the Razer DeathAdder Elite, the new Razer flagship gaming mouse features Razer’s 5G Optical Sensor which tracks up to 16,000 DPI (Dots Per Inch) at 450 IPS (Inches Per Square). OCZ recently announced the TL100 SSD designed for the entry level. Powered by TLC NAND, the OCZ TL100 is a SATA based SSD which will be available in capacities of only 120GB and 240GB, and will feature performance up to 550MB/s sequential reads and 530MB/s sequential writes.
