Beyerdynamic Custom Game Review

Introduction

For the most part when gaming there are just two senses that matter – sight and sound. This is why having a top quality headset is one of the most important elements to winning on the virtual battlefield. Traditionally, gaming headsets have always been manufactured by gaming peripherals companies that make headsets that are either average or below average quality, but with the dearth of options from premium audiomakers, until recently there really wasn’t much of a choice.

HyperX Launches Cloud Alpha Gaming Headset with Dual Chamber Design

Kingston Technology’s HyperX brand today announced the availability of its HyperX Cloud Alpha gaming headset.

The new HyperX Cloud Alpha continues the lineage of the immensely popular HyperX Cloud series of gaming headsets with a proprietary new technology which HyperX believes will help significantly improve audio quality.

Though Cloud Alpha uses the same 50mm neodymium drivers as the Cloud II, HyperX has taken steps to produce a more balanced audio playback by adding in a second chamber in the earcup. Dubbed the HyperX Dual Chamber technology, the second chamber allows the bass to be tuned separately from the highs and mids, preventing it from [...]

Razer Lancehead Review

Razer’s Flagship Wireless Gaming Mouse

Several weeks ago, we were able to get our hands on Razer’s new wired ambidextrous eSports grade gaming mouse, the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition, which we were quite impressed with. While a portion of the advertised features weren’t available at the time of the review (Synapse 3 is required for the Hybrid On-Board functionality), the Razer Lancehead TE still proved to be a fantastic gaming mouse with a flawless sensor, an excellent design and a reasonable price point.

Along with the Lancehead TE, Razer also launched the Razer Lancehead, which we’ll be reviewing today. The main difference between the [...]
