When it boils down to it, one of the most important components of your new gaming PC is the keyboard. Aside from the mouse, the keyboard, and maybe a gaming controller there’s literally nothing else that translates what you want to do to the PC. Unless you invest mind control… or something.
Over the past few years, one of the most popular categories of gaming keyboards have been the mechanical gaming keyboards. Unlike the cheap, soft and mushy rubber dome keyboards, mechanical gaming keyboards offer a better feel, more consistent actuation, better overall performance, and better reliability.
That said, with the increased popularity of mechanical [...]

As hardware becomes more power efficient and compact, Steam Machines and other small form factor systems are slowly beginning to invade the living room. As a result, PC gamers have found themselves spending more time on the couch, and playing games on the TV.
This transition to a more casual gaming environment has also sparked many peripheral makers to pursue the customized gaming controller market. Many of today’s hit titles such as Rocket League and Mortal Kombat X tend to fare much better with the controller.
Awhile back we had posted about our E3 hands on experience with the Stratus XL, SteelSeries’ answer to the developing [...]

The Stratus XL promises to provide a premium solution in a wireless controller market over-saturated with cheaply made hardware and glitch ridden software. Despite the competition, Steelseries is confident that the customization options and build quality of the [...]

While those were interesting products, what really caught our eye was a product they had introduced several months earlier – the SteelSeries Siberia Elite Gaming Headset, which was prominently displayed on one of the display shelves.
Most of you who follow the PC gaming scene in the past decade have probably seen the [...]

For over the past decade, Razer has become on of the most well known gaming peripheral manufacturers in the world, which is why when Razer decided in late 2011 to jump in headfirst as a systems integrator with the custom designed Razer Blade, I was quite skeptical. After all, it’s not everyday you see a company go out and spend the R&D to custom design a new laptop from the ground up. However to my surprise, despite the Blade’s exorbitant pricing, under-powered specifications, and so-so reviews by many media outlets, the first generation Razer Blade was actually very well received by the market thanks to its sleek, unique, portable, and very exclusive design [...]
