Nvidia Discontinues the GeForce GTX 580

Sam ChenApril 15, 2012

With the release of Nvidia’s next generation Kepler based GeForce GTX 680, Nvidia is now discontinuing their last generation single GPU performance champ, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 580.

While production on the venerable graphics card will cease this month, those who don’t mind purchasing a last generation graphics card can currently still find the GTX 580 on discount. Of course, I wouldn’t expect them to stay in stock for much longer, so if you’re interested, you might just want to pick them up quick!
