Garmin recently unveiled their latest in the vivofit lineup of fitness trackers, the vivofit jr., which is designed to encourage kids to get out of the house.

According to Garmin, the new kid friendly fitness tracker features a sunlight readable display that will tell the time, date, and includes a move bar to encourage activity. It’ll also track steps, sleep, activity, and feature a recommended 60 minute daily play goal. Parents can track their kids through a parent controlled mobile app and kids can utilize the app’s adventure trail for a fun way to reach their exercise goals. Additional features of the vivofit jr. include a comfortable, durable, waterproof design, and battery life up to one year.

The Garmin Vivofit Jr is expected to be priced at $79.99 and is now available at Target and Best Buy. More information about the vivofit jr can be found on Garmin’s website here.
