ASRock has just gained enough share in the motherboard market to steal the 3rd place from MSI and become the 3rd largest motherboard manufacturer.

Although the Taiwan based manufacturer only shipped 7.8 million boards out of the planned 9 million in 2011, they still saw enough growth to take the 3rd spot in motherboard market share.

ASRock remains optimistic about 2012, expecting to ship 10 million boards.

Currently, almost 40% of ASRock’s revenue is generated by the European market, followed by the Asia Pacific market (30%), and the China market (12%).
