SilverStone Launches SST-MS09C External M.2 SSD Enclosure

SilverStone has always been on the forefront of introducing some very unique, but awesome products and their new SST-MS09C is definitely among those products.

The SilverStone SST-MS09C is an all-aluminum external M.2 SATA SSD enclosure that appears to be a flash drive from the outside and except it doesn’t actually have a drive pre-installed. Bridging the drive is an VIA Labs VL715 controller which is able to interface SATA 6Gb/s with USB 3.1 Gen 2 to prevent any interface bottlenecking.

Those with an extra M.2 SATA drive hanging [...]

Review: Syber Vapor Xtreme Gaming PC Console

[section label=1. Introduction] The Rise of the PC Gaming Console

Way back at CES 2014, Valve made a huge splash at the show announcing their intent to popularize PC gaming in the living room. In order to do this, Valve was building a custom Steam OS which would either be installed by an end user to their own gaming PC, or be bundled with Steam Machines – Valve approved gaming PCs manufactured by their PC OEM partners.

While Valve and their PC OEM partners created a lot of hype during the show, the Steam Machine concept has pretty much fizzled out in the past year as Steam have made no big announcements regarding the status of their Steam OS or Steam Machines. With [...]

SilverStone Redline RL01 Review

SilverStone’s Entry Level Enthusiast/Gaming PC Case

Similar to Lian Li, SilverStone typically specializes in conservative, but functional high-end cases.  However, with SilverStone’s Redline series cases, SilverStone is taking a step out of their conservative case design philosophy and giving the cases a more modern, gamer-centric appeal.  With a glowing logo and HDD activity lights as well as a red 120mm front fan, the SilverStone Redline RL01 looks tough and ready for action.

CM Storm Stryker Case Review

CM Storm Trooper in White

Truth be told, when I first laid eyes the CM Storm Trooper last year, I wasn’t quite sold.
