FPS Gaming Mouse

First Person Shooter, or FPS, games are one of the most common gaming genres out there, but when it comes to gaming mice designed specifically for the genre, there is surprisingly very few out there. Of course, if you ask any professional FPS gamer, it’s easy to understand why. As FPS gaming relies almost solely on the quality of the main switches along with the accuracy of the sensor, FPS gamers typically select simple mice with quality switches and ultra-accurate sensors making gaming mice such as the Zowie EC2, Razer DeathAdder Elite, Logitech G Pro, or SteelSeries Rival 300 some of the most popular gaming mice for FPS gamers.

Of course, [...]

Mionix Launches New Peripherals with One Helluva Strange Marketing Campaign

PC gaming peripherals maker Mionix is spicing up its product catalog with brand new peripherals, super colorful accessories, and one of the strangest marketing campaigns we’ve seen in a very, very long time. Let me explain.

If you’re wondering what a lobster, donuts, stacks of cash, and a drink with an umbrella on it have to do with peripherals, don’t worry. I have no idea either.

The Minoix Wei, launched under the new “Get a Fresh Desk” marketing campaign, is Mionix’s newest mechanical keyboard. Despite what looks like a gaming keyboard, the Mionix Wei seems to be marketed towards a hip web developer or an [...]

Mionix Starts Crowdfunding for Naos QG “SmartMouse”

As technology has progressed over the years, we’ve seen a number of products that were once singular function devices that become more versatile and useful through development and innovation. Smartphones, smartbands, smartwatches, smart TV’s, smart appliances, etc. were all once not so smart but with the addition of processors, sensors, advanced software, etc. have come a long way in versatility and functionality since their original designs.

While all these products have seen a lot of innovation over the years, one product that hasn’t really changed much is the computer mouse. Sure, there are companies that have introduced onboard processors, [...]

Review: Mionix AVIOR 8200 Gaming Mouse

Back with a Bang

Only a couple years ago, gamers looking for quality gaming peripherals pretty much only had the choice between three major peripherals manufacturers – Logitech, Razer and SteelSeries. Sure there were various cheapo Chinese-made clones that were sold here and there, but for the most part nobody else had anything really competitive in the space.

With the increasing popularity of PC gaming and gaming in general, a number of companies have entered the PC gaming peripherals market, but none of them seem as promising as a little startup from Sweden by the name of Mionix. Now unlike a number of larger companies who enter the market by unveiling a [...]

Cooler Master CM Storm Trigger Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Cherry MX Brown, USB 2.0, Dedicated Macros. Win?

When most of us think Cooler Master, we typically think PC cases and CPU coolers, and well, that’s because that’s what they do best. However, with Cooler Master’s relatively recent push of their gaming gear line, CM Storm, they’ve really expanded into many different markets previously unknown to the company. One such market is the gaming keyboard market, and if you’ve read our previous review on the Quick Fire Rapid, you’ll know that we were quite impressed with their first entry. Well, since our review of the Quick Fire Rapid, a couple months have gone by and Cooler Master has already [...]

Max Keyboard Nighthawk X8 & X9 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Max Features. Max Performance. Max Keyboard.

For those of you who know me, you’ll know that I love mechanical keyboards. Ever since I used one of these a couple years back, I practically fell in love and have used these keyboards exclusively. Why? Well, for starters my typing speed improved and my accuracy improved quite a bit. Considering the fact that I spend hours and hours every day writing reviews, writing news, and all that good stuff mechanical keyboards are less of a luxury and almost a necessity.

So, when Max Keyboard asked me if I was interested in reviewing their new Nighthawk X8 and Nighthawk X9 mechanical keyboard, I was thrilled. Yeah, I’ve done [...]

Mionix Zibal 60 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Unboxing

Hey whats up everyone! I recently got my hands on a Mionix Zibal 60 for all of you so here’s a quick unboxing for you. Nothing really special in the box so I decide to do a first impression vs the Razer Blackwidow.

From first impressions, the Zibal 60’s cherry black switches take much more force to actuate than the Blackwidow’s cherry blue switches. The Zibal 60’s keys are also seem much heavier and more durable in construction compared to the Blackwidow’s. I will report back with a full review in a couple weeks. Stay tuned and make sure to subscribe to the Youtube channel!
