The next major feature update for Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system is here.

The Windows 10 Fall Creator’s Update brings a long list of improvements and new features. Finally integrated is the long-promised desktop chat integration for contacts from LinkedIn and Skype, as well as a new Android and iPhone linking feature. You won’t be able to respond to text messages, but you’ll be able send browser sessions from your phone directly to your desktop for future viewing.

Hands On: Metavision Meta 2 Sub-$1,000 AR Headset

While VR tends to be the hot buzzword these days, another technology, AR or Augmented Reality, is also gaining quite a bit of traction thanks in large part to the publicity from Pokemon Go, Google Glass and also the Microsoft Hololens.

At its press event at CES 2017, ASUS was excited to announce two brand new smartphones, the ZenFone AR and ZenFone Zoom.

T-Mobile Makes Massive Network Improvements in 2016 – Now Covers 313 Million People, Up to 1Gbps Tested on LTE

As 2016 comes to an end, T-Mobile CTO Neville Ray once again shares their end-of-year network update with some very promising results.

Microsoft Announces $299 VR Headsets Supporting Windows 10 Creator’s Update

Microsoft has been in the VR/AR market for quite some time with their HoloLens, but with a pricetag starting at $3,000, it’s far too expensive for the general customer.

At Microsoft’s recent press event, Microsoft is trying to change that as they’ve recently announced that they’re working with a number of hardware partners including HP, Dell, Lenovo, ASUS, and Acer to begin introducing a new line of VR headsets starting at just $299. This significantly undercuts popular VR headsets such as the HTC Vive which costs $800 and the Oculus Rift which costs $600.

Chinese Company to Buy 55.7% Stake in Newegg for $263 Million

According to a recent article from United Daily News, California based online electronics retailer Newegg is in the process of being acquired by Hangzhao Liaison Interactive Information Technology Co., Ltd. for 1.77 Billion Yuan, or $263 Million USD. This massive investment would essentially give Liaison Interactive a 55.7% share of Newegg. As such Hangzhao Liaison Interactive would receive controlling interest in Newegg, and Newegg would become a subsidiary of Hangzhao Liaison Interactive.

Microsoft Expands HoloLens Augmented Reality Glasses to Six New Countries

In the up and coming world of VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality), one of the most interesting products is Microsoft’s HoloLens, Microsoft’s AR headset designed to utilize Windows Holographic platform in Windows 10.

Battlefield 4 Naval Strike DLC Free Until July 26, Adds New Game Mode, Weapons, Gadgets, Vehicle

With the impending launch of Battlefield 1, EA is bringing gamers back to the Battlefield with a free DLC promotion.

From now until July 26, gamers can pick up Battlefield 4 Naval Strike for free, which includes several new maps set in the South China Sea including Lost Islands, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker, and Operation Mortar. Additionally, the Naval Strike DLC also includes five new weapons (AR-160, SR-2, AWS, SR338, SW40), several new gadgets (M320 3GL, AA Mine), a new vehicle (ACV), and a new game mode called Carrier Assault Mode.
