In a recent article that appears to have been recently pulled, hardware site Guru3D leaked the entire lineup of AMD Ryzen 5 series processors ahead of its April 11 launch.

According to the article, AMD will launch four new models under the Ryzen 5 series lineup including the Ryzen 5 1600X, Ryzen 5 1600, Ryzen 5 1500X and Ryzen 5 1400.

Ryzen 5 CPU Lineup

The Ryzen 5 1600X will be the flagship Ryzen 5 SKU. It’ll sport 6 cores and 12 threads, feature a base clock of 3.6GHz with a turbo up to 4.0GHz and XFR up to 4.1GHz. TDP is expected to be 95W. Pricing is expected to be $249.

The Ryzen 5 1600 will be similar to the Ryzen 5 1600X except with a lower frequency. It’ll sport 6-cores, 12-threads and feature a base clock of 3.2GHz with a turbo up to 3.6GHz and XFR up to 3.65GHz. TDP is expected to be 95W. Pricing is expected to be $219.

The Ryzen 5 1500X will be a 4-core, 8-thread SKU featuring a base clock of 3.5GHz, a turbo clock of 3.7GHz, and XFR up to 3.8GHz. TDP is expected to be 65W. Pricing is expected to be $189.

The Ryzen 5 1400 will be similar to the Ryzen 5 1500X except with a lower frequency. It’ll feature a 4-cores and 8-threads running at a base clock of 3.2GHz, a turbo clock of 3.4GHz and XFR up to 3.45GHz. TDP is expected to be 65W. Pricing is expected to be $169.

According to one of the leaked slides, it appears that the Ryzen 5 1600X is expected to perform as much as 69% faster than the Intel Core i5-7600K in the Cinebench benchmark. No additional performance information is available at this time.

The entire AMD Ryzen 5 lineup is expected to launch on April 11. Further, AMD plans to launch the AMD Ryzen 3 series in 2H2017.

Overall, the AMD Ryzen lineup looks very strong and with the pricepoints presented, AMD is poised to crush Intel’s marketshare in the high volume mainstream processor market. As always, take these leaks with a grain of salt, but by the looks of it, these do appear to be official slides directly from AMD. More information is likely to come in the following days, so stay tuned for more!
