AMD Radeon RX Vega 64, RX Vega 56 Revealed, Launching Aug 14

After about a year since we first heard about AMD Vega, AMD has finally announced the new graphics card, marking AMD’s return to the enthusiast graphics market after years of sitting on the sidelines.

AMD’s RX Vega lineup will consist of two new graphics cards, the RX Vega 64 and the RX Vega 56.

Samsung Announces CHG90 UltraWide HDR Gaming Monitor

Samsung now has the biggest monitor on the market with the announcement of its CHG90 HDR gaming monitor.

The CHG90 comes in a whopping 49-inch form factor. Yep. You read that right – a full 49 inches. For those of you yearning for a larger, wider monitor monitor, it doesn’t get bigger than this.

CES 2017: Samsung Displays Stunning CF791, CH711, UH750 Quantum Dot Displays

Samsung is one of the largest manufacturers of LCD panels in the world, so it’s natural that they had quite a few displays to show at CES. While their new QLED TVs were the highlight of the show, Samsung also showed off a slew of monitors based on their Quantum Dot display technology.

AOC Announces Agon 35-inch Curved Ultrawide QHD G-Sync Gaming Monitor

 

AOC has announced the latest in its lineup of Agon gaming monitors: the AG352UCG is a 35-inch, 3440 x  1440 ultrawide gaming monitor which features NVIDIA’s G-Sync variable refresh rate technology.

The AG352UCG features an AU Optronics VA panel with a maximum refresh rate of 100Hz, along with a 4ms response time. The panel boasts an impressive 100% sRGB color coverage, in addition to a 2000R curvature. That said, not all things are equal as the brightness is set to a mere 300 nits. This is somewhat compensated by the 2500:1 contrast ratio as well as the 178-degree viewing angles.

Samsung Announces CH711 Quantum Dot Gaming Monitor Ahead of CES 2017

For CES 2017, Samsung will be launching their new CH711 Quantum Dot curved monitor designed specifically for gamers in mind. Available in 27-inch and 31.5-inch variants, the CH711 will feature Samsung’s Quantum Dot display technology, a 2,560 x 1,440 WQHD resolution and 125% sRGB color coverage. It’ll also feature an 1,800R curvature and an ultrawide 178-degree viewing angle so the picture will be accurate from virtually anywhere in the room.

The CH711 Quantum Dot will be showcased at CES 2017 and is expected to be available in early 2017. Pricing information is unavailable at this time.
