Following the recent press conference Samsung held to explain the findings of their investigation into the Samsung Galaxy Note 7’s “fiery” issues, Samsung also revealed that their upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will not launch during MWC (Mobile World Congress), scheduled for the end of February in Barcelona, Spain. According to Samsung, “Samsung can confirm the company will not unveil its flagship product at Mobile World Congress this year”.

Several previous rumors believed that Samsung would push forward the launch of their highly anticipated flagship smartphone to help offset losses from their Galaxy Note 7 debacle however, it appears that Samsung is delaying the launch to ensure the Galaxy S8 undergoes more extensive QA testing.
