CES 2015: Razer Nabu X Smartband Ditches Screen, Halves Pricetag

Following the immensely successful launch of the Razer Nabu, Razer introduced a new, more budget-friendly Nabu X smartband at CES 2015.

Like the Razer Nabu, the Razer Nabu X has all the functionality of the original Nabu with two distinct differences – the onboard OLED display and the price. Unlike the original Nabu which has an OLED screen for notifications, the Nabu X uses three programmable LED lights to alert its user. Additionally, thanks to lower materials cost without the LED display, its price is halved as well retailing at just $49.99 as opposed to $99.99 for the original Nabu.

For those who missed the coverage earlier this year, the Razer Nabu is essentially a fitness band [...]

For those who missed our CES coverage of the Razer Nabu, it’s Razer’s first foray into the smart wearables market and it’s what Razer calls the first truly social wearable. Along with the more typical functionality of notifications [...]
