Gigabyte Updates BRIX Mini-PC Lineup with Intel 7th Gen Kaby Lake CPUs

According to a recent announcement, Gigabyte is updating their popular BRIX barebones mini-PC lineup to support Inte’s new 7th Generation Kaby Lake CPUs. The updated models will feature the Intel Core i3 7100, Intel Core i5 7200 or the Intel Core i7 7500. One of the biggest features of Intel’s new CPU is Intel’s Turbo Boost 2.0 which dynamically boosts performance and graphics when needed and saving energy/keeping temperatures low when it’s not. Colorful Packs a Full GTX 1070 on to an Intel Skylake Compatible Motherboard

At this year’s Computex, Colorful a company known for making graphics cards, had a very interesting concept on display. This custom motherboard featuring Intel’s B150 chipset also features an integrated GTX 1070 desktop-class GPU on-board.

The motherboard itself does not seem to to comply with any ATX standards, as it features ports on both the front and rear edges of the board.
