A pretty official looking AMD Radeon HD 7800 series specifications slide was leaked through Japanese website, hermitage akihabara. As you all know, we’ve had some previously rumored information on the HD 7870 and HD 7850, but looking at the new slide, we’re seeing some very different numbers.

According to the new information, the HD 7850, or Pitcairn Pro, will feature a 860MHz core clock, 1.2GHz memory clock, 64 TUs, 32 ROPs, 1,024 Stream Processors, and 2GB of GDDR5. Not to be outdone by the HD 7850, the HD 7870, otherwise known as the Pitcairn XT, will feature a 1GHz core clock, 1.2GHz memory clock, 80 TUs, 32 ROPs, 1,280 Stream Processors, and 2GB of GDDR5. Both cards will feature AMD’s new ZeroCore Power feature, which will allow them to idle at under 3W power draw.

According to a another previously leaked slide, the AMD Radeon HD 7800 series is expected to be released sometime this month. Looking at these specifications, the HD 7800 will definitely be aimed at the mid – high end graphics segment.

Anybody else excited about this one or is it just me?
