CES 2017: Samsung Shows Off Odyssey Gaming Notebook Lineup

The Samsung Odyssey lineup of gaming notebooks will be Samsung’s first attempt at a laptop designed for gaming from the ground up and at CES 2017, we had the chance of checking out the lineup for ourselves.

The Samsung Odyssey gaming notebook lineup will come in two flavors which include the 15.6-inch and the 17.3-inch versions.

The 15.6-inch Samsung Odyssey is a more compact gaming notebook which features an Intel Core i7 processor, up to 32GB DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics, and up to 256GB SSD + 1TB SSD for storage.

CES 2017: Razer Demos Project Valerie Triple Display Laptop, Project Ariana Gaming Projector

At CES 2017, we got a chance to visit the Razer booth before all their stuff was stolen. Two products are under the spotlight at Razer’s CES booth included Project Ariana and Project Valerie. While both products are considered to be proof of concept, Razer did have the prototypes to show off.

At the very front of the booth is Razer’s biggest eye catcher: a gaming laptop featuring triple 4K displays dubbed project Valerie. Razer Updates 14″ Blade Gaming Laptop, 12.5″ Blade Stealth Ultrabook

 

Kicking off PAX West 2016, Gaming hardware maker Razer recently announced some updates to the Blade Gaming Laptop and the Blade Stealth Ultrabook.

Nvidia Announces GeForce GTX 10-Series Pascal Based Mobile Graphics

With the launch of Nvidia’s Pascal based GeForce GTX 1080, GTX 1070, and GTX 1060 desktop chips now complete, Nvidia announced today that they’re bringing Pascal to the notebooks as well.

Nvidia’s launch today will bring three new notebook cards to the mix, the GeForce GTX 1080, GTX 1070 and GTX 1060. These three cards will strongly highlight the importance of the move to TSMC’s 16nm FinFET fabrication process as they’re no longer the cut down versions of the desktop cards we’re used to seeing in previous generation cards.

Razer Launches Razer Blade Stealth Gaming Ultrabook with Razer Core Graphics Dock

Razer has added a new model to its Razer Blade gaming laptop line in the form of an ultrabook and a graphics expansion dock.

The Razer Blade Stealth is the smallest of the Razer Blade series. With a weight of 2.75 lbs, it further emphasizes power in mobility.  The Razer Blade Stealth ultrabook comes equipped with an Intel Core i7-6500U CPU with Intel HD 520 integrated graphics and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. CES 2016: Gigabyte Announces Skylake Equipped AORUS Gaming Laptops

Gigabyte unveiled three new additions to its gaming-centric AORUS laptop branch. The latest versions of the AORUS X5 and X7 series gaming laptops come with exciting hardware and feature updates.
