Today, ZOTAC has announced another addition to their GeForce graphics card lineup, the GeForce GTX 1080 ArcticStorm, which aims to cater to the liquid-cooling community with a full-coverage water block for plugging into custom loops.

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 ArcticStorm

As stated, the card features a full-coverage water block which features technologies such as Direct Copper Contact and Microchannels to “maximize thermal performance”.  Aesthetically, the front of the card is very nice featuring an industrial design which combines smoked plexiglass with a brush aluminum accent, for a very modern look and clean look.

Around back, the aesthetic changes quite a bit, as the ArcticStorm seems to feature the very same backplate design found on the GTX 1080 AMP! which features a much more gamer-y aesthetic thanks to the large diagonal yellow stripe. This is definitely one area we wish they’d have held back a little as it is the one mark on an otherwise beautiful design.

For fittings, the ArcticStorm utilizes standard G1/4 threaded fitting and comes bundled with a pair of barbs that supports 10mm inner diameter tubing. The card also features ZOTAC’s SPECTRA LED lighting system, which allows for user controlled lighting profiles using the company’s bundled FireStorm software.
