In preparation for the holiday shopping season, Synology is announcing no less than five new NAS systems ranging from a two to six bays. According to the announcement, the new NAS systems include the DS218+, DS418, DS718+, DS918+ and the DS3018xs.

 

Synology DS218+ and DS718+

The Synology DS218+ and DS718+ are two bay NAS systems designed for the home and business.

The Synology DS218+ is powered by an Intel Celeron J3355 dual core processor, 2GB DDR3L RAM (Expandable up to 6GB) and features one Gigabit LAN port for networking.

The Synology DS718+ is powered by an Intel Celeron J3455 quad core processor, 2GB DDR3L RAM (Expandable up to 6GB) and features two Gigabit LAN ports for networking.

 

Synology DS418 and DS918+

The Synology DS418 and DS918+ are four bay NAS systems designed for the home and business.

The Synology DS418 is powered by a Realtek RTD1296 quad core processor, 2GB DDR4 RAM and features two Gigabit LAN ports for networking.

The Synology DS918+ is powered by an Intel Celeron J3455 quad core processor, 4GB DDR3L RAM (Expandable up to 8GB) and features two Gigabit LAN ports for networking.

 

Synology DS3018xs

The Synology DS3018xs is a six bay NAS designed for business users. The Synology DS3018xs is powered by an Intel Pentium D1508 dual core processor, 8GB DDR4 ECC RAM (Expandable up to 32GB) and features four Gigabit LAN ports for networking. Those who need faster networking capabilities can also install an optional 10Gbe Ethernet card for 10Gbe performance.
