Die hard Starcraft fans will be happy to know that Blizzard has recently announced that Starcraft Remastered will be available starting August 14.

The remastered edition of Starcraft will bring significant graphics to the game, supporting resolutions up to 4K so you no longer have to play Starcraft at a pitiful 640×480 on your brand spankin’ new 35-inch, 200Hz, G-Sync monitor. Other enhancements include upgraded audio/sound, a new matchmaking and leaderboard system, and cloud saving for campaign, hotkeys, and replays.

Starcraft: Remastered will include both the original Starcraft and the Starcraft: Brood War expansion and can now be pre-ordered for $14.99. Those who pre-order before August 14 will receive the Char Hive, Korhal Command Center, and Aiur Nexus building skins along with several digital bonuses including the Alexei Stukov co-op commander and three unique portraits.

To promote the new game, Blizzard has also released a snazzy new trailer with zero actual gameplay, but it’s pretty cool anyway, so check it out below!
