At SIGGRAPH 2017, PNY announced that they’ll soon be jumping into the mobile workstation market with their latest PNY Prevail Pro P3000 and Prevail Pro P4000 mobile workstations.

The new mobile workstations which are just 0.78-inches thin and weigh in at just 4.8Lbs, feature up to a 15.6-inch 4K UHD(3840×2160) display, an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, up to 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM, and Nvidia’s Quadro Mobile P3000 for the Prevail Pro P3000 and the Quadro Mobile P4000 (Max-Q) for the Prevail Pro P4000. Storage options include up to 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs and up to a 2TB HDD.

I/O options include a Kensington lock slot, DC-IN, 2x USB Type-C USB 3.1 Gen 2, 3x USB 3.0 USB 3.1 Gen 1, 3.5mm headphone/microphone jacks, card reader slot, and Gigabit LAN.

One special feature about the PNY Prevail Pro’s array of I/O is that it also includes one HDMI 2.0 port and two Mini-DP 1.3 ports. This allows it to output to three 4K displays simultaneously while also outputting to the monitor for a total of four displays.

For improved usability in low light environments, the keyboard is backlit with bright white LEDs and for improved security, and the PNY Prevail Pro also features a TPM 2.0 fingerprint scanner on the touchpad.

Additional features include a 4-cell 55WH battery for up to 300 minutes of battery life, Intel Wireless-AC 8265 WiFi, and Windows 10 Pro pre-installed.

The PNY Prevail Pro mobile workstations are expected to arrive sometime in Q3 or Q4 this year. Pricing is still unavailable at this time.
