Last week Microsoft released patch KB2592546 to increase performance on AMD Bulldozer processors in Windows; however, that patch was removed only a little while later. Luckily, the guys over at SweClockers were able to test the patch before it was pulled and they have done some pretty extensive benchmarking with the FX 8150 processor.

As you can see from the benchmarks below, the results are not impressive at all which is probably why the patch was pulled. Most applications saw 0 to negative performance boosts with only a couple benchmarks showing positive improvement.
