Razer Basilisk Review

FPS Gaming Mouse

First Person Shooter, or FPS, games are one of the most common gaming genres out there, but when it comes to gaming mice designed specifically for the genre, there is surprisingly very few out there. Of course, if you ask any professional FPS gamer, it’s easy to understand why. As FPS gaming relies almost solely on the quality of the main switches along with the accuracy of the sensor, FPS gamers typically select simple mice with quality switches and ultra-accurate sensors making gaming mice such as the Zowie EC2, Razer DeathAdder Elite, Logitech G Pro, or SteelSeries Rival 300 some of the most popular gaming mice for FPS gamers.

Of course, [...]

Razer Lancehead Review

Razer’s Flagship Wireless Gaming Mouse

Several weeks ago, we were able to get our hands on Razer’s new wired ambidextrous eSports grade gaming mouse, the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition, which we were quite impressed with. While a portion of the advertised features weren’t available at the time of the review (Synapse 3 is required for the Hybrid On-Board functionality), the Razer Lancehead TE still proved to be a fantastic gaming mouse with a flawless sensor, an excellent design and a reasonable price point.

Along with the Lancehead TE, Razer also launched the Razer Lancehead, which we’ll be reviewing today. The main difference between the [...]

Razer Lancehead TE Review

Razer’s Flagship Tournament Mouse

If you look at Razer’s gaming mouse lineup today, they have a little bit of something for everyone, but one area that’s been lacking is a premium ambidextrous gaming mouse offering. While Razer does offer the back to basics Abyssus gaming mouse which features an ambidextrous design, it’s a relatively lower end gaming mouse that lacks some of the cool bells and whistles you’d find on Razer’s more premium products such as the DeathAdder Elite.

To address this market, Razer recently launched the Lancehead Tournament Edition, which we’ll be reviewing today. The Razer Lancehead TE is a premium gaming mouse [...]

Nixeus REVEL Review

Simple, Accurate, Inexpensive

Recently, we were given the opportunity to test some of Nixeus’s peripherals starting with the Nixeus Moda Pro mechanical keyboard which was an excellent keyboard that’s easy to use, durable, and came in at a reasonable price. Today we’ll be reviewing one of their gaming mice, the Nixeus REVEL, which is Nixeus’s sole gaming mouse offering thus far.

The Nixeus REVEL is a relatively basic gaming mouse designed for eSports gamers in mind. There’s no fancy programmable RGB funtionality or macro functionality to speak of, but what it does have is top notch hardware where it counts. The sensor onboard is the PMW 3360 [...]
