AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) is finally signing off after 20 years of service.

In a concise and nostalgic blog post, AOL announced that AIM will be closing its doors to all users on December 15, 2017.

Discord Video Calling Now Available to All Users

The promised day has come. After rolling out to 5% of users for beta testing earlier this year, Discord’s highly anticipated video calling feature has landed to stable release.

After downloading a 22MB patch, all Discord users can now enjoy video calling with all their friends. Video calling supports up to 10 users simultaneously and also supports full screen sharing, which is useful when you want to show a game tip, give a presentation or troubleshooting someone’s computer. Discord Starts Testing Video Chat and Screen Share

Discord’s video chat and screen sharing are the top two most wanted features. Its engineers have been promising to deliver for months, and today the dream becomes a reality for 5% of Discord users.

In a post on Discord Blog, Discord will be testing video chat and screen sharing with 5% of desktop users. Eligible participants will be selected at random. If you’re a selected tester, you can make video calls with anybody, even people who aren’t in the testing program.
