In a recent update to the game’s Steam store page, the PC system requirements for Capcom’s latest installment in the long-running survival horror franchise Resident Evil 7: Biohazard have been revealed. The title, which will be available on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles on January 24th, 2017 marks a drastic change in tone, with the developers promising the game will “return to the survival horror roots” of the franchise’s youth. With an all-new first-person player perspective and game mechanics which are clearly inspired by modern survival horror titles such as Amnesia and Outlast, it is definitely easy to get excited [...]
Those who know me know that I’m a huge fan of all things Capcom. Very few things are as exciting to me as news of upcoming games such as Mega Man, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, etc., but nothing, and I mean nothing, stirs my soul more than hearing of a new Street Fighter game!
For those who missed it, Capcom announced late last year that Street Fighter V is coming to PC and PS4 (Sorry Xbox), which is awesome news to someone who has loved almost every game in the franchise for more than 25 years! What’s new however, is that IGN recently got the scoop that SFV is tentatively slated for a Spring 2016 release! Yes!
One of the biggest features of [...]
Last week we were blessed with the opportunity to check out MSI’s R9 270 Gaming, which is an excellent variant of AMD’s recently introduced Radeon R9 270 and this week we’ll be checking out a brand new graphics card from PowerColor, the Devil R9 270X. While the Radeon R9 270X and its variants have been released several weeks ago, PowerColor’s cards were unfortunately missing from AMD’s initial launch, but for those of you who waited, you’ll have the option of getting what may possibly be the best R9 270X variant out there.
Today we’ll be reviewing the PowerColor Devil R9 270X. As you may expect, the [...]
If you haven’t heard already, over the past couple weeks AMD has been on a graphics card launch frenzy launching a number of new graphics cards including the Radeon R9 270X, R9 280X, R9 290X and the R9 290. While impressive, with the exception of the R9 290X and the R9 290, most of the R9 200 lineup that’s been launched already is still based off AMD’s last generation GPU technology with the R9 280 series based off the Tahiti GPU found in the Radeon HD 7900 series and the R9 270 series based off the Pitcairn GPU found on the Radeon HD 7800 series. Given that AMD is expected to launch around eight GPUs for the R9 200 series before [...]
It’s great to be a PC gamer these days. Gaming PC costs have fallen significantly over the past couple years largely in part due to the amount of performance AMD and Nvidia have been able to cram on their mid range graphics cards, and gaming bundles such as AMD’s Never Settle Reloaded bundles are making it easier than ever to obtain great graphics and some great games at prices unheard of many years ago.
Today we’ll be reviewing ASUS’s custom implementation of the Radeon HD 7870, the ASUS Radeon HD 7870 DirectCU II (HD7870-DC2-2GD5-V2). The Radeon HD 7870 is a mid to high end graphics card, which features a 1GHz clock speed, 1280 [...]
Last year, we reviewed the CM Storm QuickFire Rapid which offered the tenkeyless formfactor for portability, but came at the expense of a missing tenkey pad, and although we liked how it could be stuffed into our backpacks effortlessly, we definitely missed having the number pad when it came to working with excel spreadsheets.
If only someone could make a tenkeyless formfactor mechanical keyboard with a tenkey pad…
So before 2012 rolled to a close, Cooler Master handed us what they call the CM Storm QuickFire TK packed with Cherry MX blue keyswitches for us to review. In case its name hasn’t given it away yet, [...]
If you’re a budget conscious gamer these days, then you probably already know that you no longer need to empty your wallet to obtain decent gaming performance and high end features out of a graphics card. Mid-range cards such as the AMD’s 28nm Radeon HD 7800 series offer excellent performance to dollar ratio and even saves you money on your electricity bills too.
Today we’ll be reviewing one such mid range graphics card from our friends over at HIS, the HIS Radeon HD 7850 IceQ Turbo 2GB. Looking at the specs, the card is definitely promising. As its name suggests, it comes with a new revision of HIS’s custom IceQ cooler. We’ve [...]
When we look at the computer peripherals market, there’s always one name that you can’t really forget – Logitech. For years, they’ve been producing amazing peripherals and with the emerging popularity of mechanical keyboards as of late, we’ve been left wondering when the computer peripherals giant would begin offering their own product.
For those still wondering then, wonder no more as today we’ll be reviewing Logitech’s recently introduced G710+ mechanical gaming keyboard, and as their first mechanical keyboard, it looks like Logitech has really pulled out all the stops for the G710+. Why do I say this? [...]
