  1. Thanks for all your comments! Yes I know roughly how to install the heatsink, and I have has a look on the forums which proves the twin turbo pro II works with the MSI gtx670. I hope all goes well with this heatsink, I'll be having a little more of an indepth look but I'm sure this heatsink is what I need.
  2. Also, would a 600w PSU support it? I'm guessing it should, I'm using an Intel core i5 3570k and and MSI GTX 670.
  3. Thanks for your reply, but I am low on cash (Im 15 yrs old so therefore I have no cash to blow due to now job etc) so are there any good heatsinks for under 50? I have found god reviews on the following: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooling-Accelero-TwinTurbo-Graphics-Cooler/dp/B005FYCFG8/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1353620209&sr=1-1 There are a couple more I have found but barely know anything about them. 4. Thanks for the advice, instead of buying thermal paste I think I will just go with a new heatsink tbh, besides i can reach better temp with a new heatsink.
  5. 26C with Google chrome a few videos open and Skype open, but I still don't understand how my GPU temp and fan speed increase at such a high temp.
  6. Thanks for your reply, I have just checked my pc and graphics card but there was no jam or any other problem to be seen just a bit of dust was all.
  7. About 4/5 months back I posted a thread on building a gaming pc, I have done so but now want to OC, but the Temperatures start to hit the mid 80s where I start to feel really uneasy because of the fan noise which suddenly gets really loud in a couple of seconds. I have been looking around for about an hour and a few have caught my eye, but I'm unsure as to if they would fit my 'MSI GTX 670' I only know of one of them which is the 'Cooling Accelero TwinTurbo Pro II' aftermarket cooler, that works well with the 670. What I had in mind were the following models: (I am not willing to spend over £40 on this as I have already used up about 1.3k on the actual PC) Cooling Accelero TwinTurbo Pro II Graphics Card Cooler: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme GTX Pro CPU Cooler: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo Pro CPU Cooler: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories Any advice is welcome!:)
  8. (EPIC Facepalm!) Im so stupid xD I tried out the other USB ports, turns out I had to update the drivers for USB 3.0, so until then I used the older port which worked!
  9. I have posted a thread before regarding building a gaming pc, I have done so but have received a problem when I try and install windows. -FIXED- The keyboard and mouse work when I go into the BIOS, but for some reason they stop when I enter the Windows 7 Installation menu, I have tried unplugging everything and it still doesn't work. Any one have any solutions to my problem?
  10. He's wondering about a gpu for a near future upgrade but cannot go over £110/£120 for the gpu. There are a few gpus that caught my eye for his price range and needs (Skyrim maxed out very little mods maybe one demanding mod). http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-Nvidia-GeForce-Graphics-Express/dp/B0087YADCG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1344032054&sr=8-1 Asus AMD Radeon HD7770 DirectCU Graphics Card (1GB, GDDR5, HDMI, DVI-I, CrossFireX, Overclocked on Arrival): Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories Sapphire Radeon HD7750 Graphics Card (1GB, GDDR5): Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories Asus nVIDIA 3D GeForce GTX 550 TI DirectCu Graphics Card (1GB): Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories Any other recommendations are welcome, thanks for reading.
  11. My mate is struggling to decide on a gpu to get for him, he wants to upgrade pretty soon, but isn't willing on spending over £110 on a gpu, there are a few that I have looked over and I'de like to know if you have any gpus to recommend with-in this price range. So far I'm thinking about the GT 640, radeon 7750, 7750 and gtx 550ti, he needs a card that will perform well when playing skyrim maxed out with a few mods, maybe 1 that is slightly more demanding then the rest but nothing to demanding he hopes.

  13. Perfect! All I gotta show him is if he likes the case or not, if he doesnt go with the case, he'll most likely just stick to what hes got right now or just go for something under or around £50.
