  1. It's a biostar H55 HD. Btw you think there is a blower-style GTX 660ti that'll outrun the GTX 670 FTW?
  2. Thanks a lot I think I'll go with the UD5H and the GTX 670 FTW now since they're a wee bit cheaper and they give very good performance. Also, for the system in the bonus question, will it be able to handle say a GTX560ti or anything like that? Since I don't know whether it has PCI-E 2.0 yet and if not will that be the bottleneck? Thanks in advance ;)!
  3. Thanks for your answer! Do you think that the z77-UD5H would match nice with a corsair Graphite 600T white? Since I thought the sabertooth would match the best as its black :P I've seen the Z77 Sniper 3 from your built but since it's 332 euro's in holland (thats $415) this is way too much sadly. Whats the difference between the Sabertooth and the UD5H? I'm having a hard time finding this out.. Also I was wondering whether I could get the Gigabyte GTX670 windforce edition and then later on get the EVGA GTX 670 FTW underneath it.. then I'll have a blower-style card at the bottom so I would not have the problem of blowing hot air directly at the GPU above. Or do you reckon that the EVGA would beat the Gigabyte version? Since people at the EVGA forums are going nuts about the out of the box boost speed (according to them its around 1250 with a good chip). I think I'll go for the TX 650M then.. Do you reckon the TX 650M is worth the $20 over the TX 650 V2? Since ofcourse, it's modular but also people were saying that the V2 has a bad coil whine going on.. Any idea's about that? Thanks a lot :P!
  4. Thanks for that link! I was looking for exactly a review like that for weeks :P!
  5. I think you have another computer because you can keep posting on the forums but if you're not able to download them on a working computer do the following: Just download the LAN/NIC driver first. Now you can go online and download the other drivers from the sites :) Also don't forget to download all the Windows updates! Goodluck!
  6. You should download the latest drivers from the site of your motherboard and graphics card manifacturer. These are the links: Motherboard: GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-Z77-D3H (rev. 1.0) (If you are still getting the gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H with windows 64bit) I would download the Chipset and the LAN first since those are important drivers. Also I'd advice to download them on another computer to a thumbdrive and then to your new computer :) Graphics card: AMD Catalyst (if still getting the HD 7950 with windows 64bit) Goodluck :P
  7. BTW if you know any other good motherboard/graphics card for around the same pricetag please tell me! I'm not limited to what I stated in my thread :) thanks! ~tidi
  8. Hey guys I made a threat a while ago asking things about my build. Most of you were positive so I was happy and wanted to start building! Then I found out that the Asus GTX670 DC2T isn't available anywhere.. So I had to wait.. and wait.. and wait.. Then I started looking for other components and now I'm stuck because I don't know what to pick.. can you guys help me out? This is what I'm thinking of.. Motherboard: Asrock Fatal1ty Z77 Gigabyte UD5H Asus sabertooth (this is the one I wanted to have in the first place) Graphics card: Asus GTX 670 DC2T Anyone knows another gtx 670 that is also factory overclocked and has good cooling? I was thinking of the EVGA GTX670 FTW edition since it has the blower-style cooler so it'd be good for SLI.. But since I'm not going SLI anytime in the near future I want a good card in the mean time that can handle it all on its own at ease.. any idea's on that? Also, since there are rumours of the GTX660Ti coming out soon.. Is it worth to wait for that card? Also wondering whether a Corsair TX 650M would be enough to go SLI sometime.. -Update- Decided to switch to the Cooler Master Silent Pro M700 due to higher wattage and lower price! Any comments on whether this is a good PSU? Thanks for your help in advance! PS. Just a bonus question, would a card like the GTX560Ti go with a biostar H55 HD MoBo, a Intel i7 870, a 460 watt psu and 4 gig's of ram? thanks a lot!
  9. Everything looks OK but personally I would chose another graphics card, the Asus gtx 670 DirectCUII TOP: http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-GeForce-GTX-670-DC2T-2GD5-GTX670-DC2T-2GD5/dp/B0081IFO3G This because in benchmarks it scores higher than the gtx 670 from EVGA, it also is a bit cooler. Since its a TOP version you're also get the best chips and such to ensure longer lifetime. Still, the EVGA card is very good aswell! Also I'd get an SSD if I were you, just get a small one to use as a boot SSD since it'll make a big difference in booting your computer and you will save a lot of time :)!
  10. Ok, thanks for the advice! I'm not sure whether they have those available in the webshops here in Holland but when they have I'll get those! I'm not planning on running SLI anytime soon so I guess I could just stick with the TX650m :) Do you know whether the TX650m is full modular or just partly? Also I'm choosing for the TX650m over the TX650V2 because apparently it's quieter.. Any idea about that?
  11. Basically the memory that I picked is the same except it has heat sinks on top of them :P Thank that'll be a problem/advantage? Since they do look pretty cool :D!
  12. Thanks for helping :)! Is there a big difference between the GT or the standard version of the dominator memory? And what's your opinion on my PSU? Thanks in advance!
  13. Wow thanks haha! That really ment a lot to me :) And apparently I'm not over-budget at all! As my parents are willing to chip in for the last couple hundred bucks. The Vengeance Black series are the same as the low profile one's but they have heatsinks on top. Would that really be a problem? Also I'm kinda worried that my PSU isn't good enough, what do you reckon? Thanks in advance!
  14. Hey guys, could you check if this build is ok? It's my first ever build and I think all the components should work well together but I'm not sure if my PSU has enough power and if you notice any components you think wouldn't work together please say so! Thanks in advance! CPU: Intel i5 3570K @ 3.4 Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z77 Videocard: Asus GeForce GTX670 DCII TOP RAM: 2x Corsair Vengeance black 4GB SSD: Samsung 830 series 128 GB PSU: Corsair TX 650watt Modular CPU-Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Case: Corsair Graphite 600T Harddrive: Seagate Barracuda 2TB Dvdburner: LG DVR DL I think I might have went a little bit over budget so if you have any tips on changing parts with other cheaper parts that have about the same performance it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Tidi
  15. Hey guys, at this dutch site I found the Asus Sabertooth Z77, they claim that it has the LGA 1156 socket, I know this probably won't be true but given the fact that I love my Intel i7 870 lynnfield CPU this gave a me a little hope, could this be? Or is this just some bullcrap :D? here's a link to the page http://www.megasellers.nl/componenten-kabels/moederborden/asus/SABERTOOTH%20Z77/sabertooth-z77
