  1. I am also in the hunt for a gpu upgrade from my current 6870 1gb. I'm bouncing around between either getting the Sapphire 7950 OC 3GB 384bit Amazon.com: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB DDR5 HDMI/DVI-I/Dual Mini DP PCI-Express OC version or the 670 FTW Amazon.com: EVGA GeForce GTX670 FTW 2048MB GDDR5 256bit, Dual Dual-Link DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, 4-Way SLI Ready I figure the 7950 is better bang for the price while I may have heard 670 FTW outperforms the 7950 in several games, I think the 7950 is only a notch down below the 670. From the bench marks I've seen between 7950 and 670, the 670 has a slight edge in performance. But overall, I am currently leaning on getting the 7950, even with the potential driver problems. I think the 7950 gpu has a better cooling design than the 670 FTW. Is the 670 FTW a better long term investment than the 7950 OC 3gb? Bottom line, even with a small price difference between the two gpus, I am more intrigued in the overall design of the 7950 gpu than the 670 ftw gpu. It feels like I am buying the 7950 only because of its looks, but I am aware of sapphire's reputation. :)
  2. Here's the love for sorc (wizard). I'm for the Wizard yet earlier I was split b/t the barb and the wizard. But I have made up my mind on the wizard. Even though I enjoyed playing the barb during the beta weekend event, I just love the skills the wizard has to offer, and I think the wizard has an unique factor for its skills such as the slow time and maneuverability (teleport).
  3. I am not too familiar with the hype for blackberry devices. What makes the blackberry special compared to other smart phones? A friend of mine told me the blackberry has an excellent keyboard for typing (though he admits the touchscreen pinch and zoom is a nice feature to have).
  4. I've recently decided on my next long term phone. The HTC One X will be it, but I had been in a state of limbo since the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 will be announced some time later this week. The downside to the HTX One X is it doesn't have expandable storage though I read the Galaxy S3 will rumored to have only 16gb and 32gb with no expandable slots. Bottom line, I went with the HTC One X because I don't want to wait on the S3 and there's currently a hot $50 deal (gray color only) for the HTC One X on AmazonWireless: HTC One X 4G Android Phone, Gray (AT&T) (I believe this deal only works on upgrades in a family plan). I hope this deal is still live.
  5. Oh yes! Represent California! I'm in!
  6. Since I checked out the Max Keyboard review on this site, I am completely sold on getting the Max Keyboard X8 or X9 whether or not I win the giveaway contest. Although, I would love to customize certain color keys, specifically the WASD keys. And I am still deciding on whether to get brown cherry or red cherry.
  7. Currently, I am using the Amazon.com: Razer BlackWidow Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and I only bought it because of its reasonable price for a mechanical keyboard. But if I do get my hands on the Max Keyboard X8 or X9, I would definitely retire the Black Widow for the X8/X9.
  8. Any of you guys getting the collector's ed? For the type of stuff you're getting, I don't think it's worth it for $150USD. Right now, I plan on devoting my game time on Diablo 3 then when the time comes around, I'll have some playing time for Guild Wars 2.
  9. FYI: Diablo 3 Open Beta weekend starting: April 20 12:01pm (PDT) - April 23 10:00am (PDT) Diablo® III Open Beta Weekend - Diablo III You can start downloading the game client so you can play as soon as it's up. Download Client (need bnet account and battletag to play): https://us.battle.net/account/download/index.xml
  10. I entered in a lot of Diablo 3 beta giveaways.. No chance at all.. Anyways, is anyone getting the collector's ed? I'm split in getting either the standard ed or collector's ed.
  11. I am very interested in the Nokia Lumia 900. Engadget's review, Nokia Lumia 900 review -- Engadget points out the phone seems to have plenty of features for a solid price. Did anyone buy this phone? How is the phone so far? How are your experiences with a windows phone compared to other phones? I had other interests in other phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S II and the Motorola Atrix 2. I am very intrigued in delving into the android market. To me, the apple iOS world seems too bland and dull. I currently own a iphone 3GS, and I've been hanging on to this phone since it came out, and I want to explore other phone avenues (I hope to make a worthy transition to a non-apple product). Bottom line, I want to buy a reasonable price phone that provides plenty of features for the price.
