  1. I would love to win this, these coolers are awesome and look amazing.
  2. you still had the $1500 rig in your possession, so i dont think that would count :P also did you render that bridge out in your sig?, and if so what program?
  3. I believe i have the worse pc, 2.8ghz Pentium D, some Asus motherboard, 2gb ram, evga 8600 gts, 3 different hard drives. But the motherboard crapped out and ive been saving up to build a new pc, but currently my friend let me barrow his old laptop. But my new pc will have a i7 3770k, Gigabyte z77 UD5H, 2x8gb corsair vengeance ram, corsair tx 750, nzxt gamma case, and i am reusing the hard drives. So currently i think i own the worst computer due to it not working... and having to barrow a laptop.
  4. I realized how much 32gb of ram is, and even with editing i doubt i will come close to using it all. Ive been working with 4gb of ram i have only maxed out a couple of times and that is with over 300gb of raw hd footage on one project. So 32gb is not a necessity for me, i don't plan on having 3tb of footage to edit. Also 4x4gb is cheaper by about $30-40 then 2x8gb.
  5. I just found a $50 credit gift card ive had for a while and it allows me to get 16gb ram and still be in budget. I was looking at the Corsair Vengeance 4x4gb. I am pretty set on the motherboard, i will be getting graphic cards in the future and sli. With cooling i have a ThermalTake slim x3 for now, but i will upgrade to a h100 or something else. I simply do not have enough cash as a junior in high school to pay for everything at once.
  6. so would the two 16gb dual channel kits be worth it still for editing video even though they don't work together? sorry for all of these question i just want to be sure before i buy the components of my build.
  7. Thanks, i will save up a bit more cash for the 2x8gb, also if i buy a 2x8gb kit now and another kit in the future will the 32gb work together?
  8. well the z77 ud5h supports 32gb and i don't have the funds to purchase 2x8gb, so i was wondering if i was good with only one stick at the moment?
  9. well i thinking of buying a single stick of ram at first due to my budget, and i want to have 32gb ram in the future so will just buying 1x8gb be fine for the time being? i was looking at this ram Newegg.com - CORSAIR XMS3 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M1A1333C9
  10. So at the the end of the month i am going to start buying parts for my new build, i hope to be under $600. Gaming is not a priority at this point in time, but 3d rendering is. The parts i currently already have is: * NZXT Gamma * Corsair tx750v2 * (2) Western Digital 320gb 7200rpm * Western Digital 250gb 7200rpm * some oem dvd drive * (2) Acer 22.5" screens 1650x1050 * HP oem keyboard * piece of turd mouse Now what i am going to purchase: * i7 3770k $332 * Gigabyte z77 ud5h $190 * 8gb ram (still deciding) I need some help finding ram, and throw in any opinions my way.
  11. Wow this is disappointing to hear, i am still going to buy the 3770k. Ive waited out sandy bridge for ivy bridge, so there is no point not wait at this time.
  12. I use 3 different screens; laptop 1366x768, pc 1920x1080 and 1650x1050.
  13. This game looks to have some real potential. I cant wait for some more news about this title.
  14. That looks like a beast build, good job.
  15. i am finally building my rig at the end of the month and i don't want to use an old oem hp keyboard, so i would greatly appreciate it if i were able to win this keyboard.
