Review: Razer Mechanical Keyboard Case (Apple iPad Pro)

Razer’s Ultra Low-Profile Mechanical Switch Makes Its Debut

Ever since I laid my hands on a mechanical keyboard several years ago, I was hooked. Today, almost every keyboard I own is mechanical with the exception of the keyboard on my laptop and a Bluetooth keyboard I use from time to time with my HTPC or tablet. Wouldn’t it be great if everything could be mechanical? I sure think so and Razer seems to think so as well.

Several weeks ago, Razer introduced their new Ultra Low-Profile Mechanical Switches which attempts to solve one of the biggest hurdles to mechanical switches being implemented in portable applications – size. Up until this point, mechanical [...]

Razer Launches Ultra Low Profile Mechanical Switches in iPad Pro Case

Several years ago, Razer developed and adopted their own mechanical keyboard switches for their mechanical keyboard lineup. While Razer switches gave Razer far more control over their product and likely helped reduce costs in the process, Razer’s switches still largely imitated the designs of Cherry MX switches and aside from the switches being called Razer switches, it didn’t offer much benefit for the consumer.

Capitalizing on their switch development experience however, Razer recently introduced their new ultra-low profile switch which is designed to carry the same click and tactile feel of a Razer Green switch, but comes in significantly smaller [...]

Review: Razer Firefly RGB Backlit Hard Gaming Mousepad

The Most Beautiful Mousepad Ever Made

One day, a Razer engineer took his hand off his mouse and reached for his Chroma’ed out coffee mug. As he slowly sipped his delicious brew that may or may not contain alcohol, the dazzling lights of his mug converged with the blank blueprint on his desk in perfect harmony. The engineer’s eyes glowed (with excitement), and he hastily drew the design for a Chroma’ed out mousepad – the Razer Firefly.

Of course that’s probably not how it actually happened, but I’m sure the engineers at Razer were like so we have so many glowing peripherals nowadays, why not complete the lineup with a glowing mouse [...]

The most noticeable change right off the bat is the Chroma style RGB LEDs that wrap the sides of the mouse and the center scroll wheel. Razer has also carried over the materials used on new Razer mice including textured, matte black plastic and grippy rubber sides.

Razer [...]
