Hello . I am planning to upgrade my PC this month. PC SPECS:

    Card: ASUS EAH6670

    Processor:Intel i7 2600k 3.40GHz

    RAM:8Gb DDR3 (2x 4Gb)

    Hard Disk:WD 2.0TB/72.00

    Motherboard: MSI H67MA-E35

    Power Suply: HKC USP5550

I am upgrading my card to HIS or ASUS 7970. Is there anything else to upgrade to get more FPS ingame?

    Hey,

That 7970 looks like a great upgrade!

    As for upgrades...

I'd upgrade the motherboard to a Z68 or P67. That way you can overclock the i7 2600K for better performance. The Z68A-GD65 G3 is a good choice.

Also, I'm not too familiar with that power supply since it's not sold in the USA, so I'll also recommend the Corsair TX650.

You might also want to invest in an SSD in the future for fast load times. Something like the Intel 520 SSD would be awesome.
    Production: MSI P67A-GD65 (B3 v1.8) | Intel i7 2600k @ 4.5GHz Auto Vcore | 16gb Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz 9 9 9 24 | MSI/AMD Radeon HD6970 @ stock | CM Silent Gold Pro 800w | CM HAF X

Thanks Maybe I'll get the SSD to store games on it. Windows on this one/games on the SSD, since I use my computer for gaming 80%! I'll try to order the parts from amazon.de and I hope they won't take more than a month. My friend is already waiting 2 weeks for his graphics card Since Germany is 8 hours away from me, if you go there with a car it should be around 1 week And does it matter which case you have? I think I have the ATX Asgard right now. It looks like crap, but is it really worth to get a new one?

Yeah an SSD would definitely make everything feel a lot more snappy. It won't give you any additional boost in FPS though. You'll need to buy a new mobo and overclock your CPU if you want that.

The Asgard looks like it should fit the 7970 without any problems. What's the maximum length for the GPU on the case? I wasn't able to find any reviews online.
