In a recent blog post from Cherry GmbH, they recently confirmed that “Cherry MX Yellow” switches available through some online sellers are fake or partially fake.
The fake switches may be using Cherry MX Black housing which explains why the housing itself bears the “Cherry” name and logo, but the original stem has been removed and replaced with a yellow one (and likely the internals as well). Cherry has no idea where these switches came from, but has confirmed that they don’t manufacture yellow stem switches and have no plans to do so in the future. Any official switches manufactured by Cherry can be found on the Cherry website [...]
Several years ago, Razer developed and adopted their own mechanical keyboard switches for their mechanical keyboard lineup. While Razer switches gave Razer far more control over their product and likely helped reduce costs in the process, Razer’s switches still largely imitated the designs of Cherry MX switches and aside from the switches being called Razer switches, it didn’t offer much benefit for the consumer.
Capitalizing on their switch development experience however, Razer recently introduced their new ultra-low profile switch which is designed to carry the same click and tactile feel of a Razer Green switch, but comes in significantly smaller [...]

Each of the buttons is programmable by the user through the Razer Synapse software. For those who just want to jump into the game, three sets of [...]
Ducky unveiled its Ducky Shine 6 mechanical keyboard at Computex this year with a brand new theme.
The Ducky Shine 6 is the first Ducky keyboard to incorporate a mouse bungee. The bungee can be attached on either sides of the keyboard depending on the user’s hand dominance. The rubber feet has been overhauled as well. On the Shine 5, the elevator feet detaches with a twist. In the Shine 6 the feet inserts into the base. The Ducky rep explained that this improves stability.
The aesthetics of the keyboard evolved as well. The top portion now features grill-like fins, we aren’t sure if these are just for a fresh look or have any practical [...]
